Our expert mechanics are proficient in the installation & repairs of such equipment as dock levelers & restraints, rolling steel doors, sectional doors, sliding freezer doors and high-speed/high-performance doors.
American Overhead Door & Dock Inc. was started by Joe Swope Jr. with one goal in mind, keep the customers equipment running. What started as a one man show out of a 1985 Ford F-150 has now grown to be one of the largest and most respected commercial door and dock companies in the Tri-state area servicing PA, NJ, DE, and now NY. Joe’s dream of one day turning the business over to his sons is starting to come to fruition. Joey Swope has built a sales force from the ground up that has been awarded the #1 dealer in the Americas for Albany Door Systems and Devon Swope is currently managing and overseeing a service and installation team that has a fleet of 15 vehicles on the road daily.

We aim to provide pre-construction consultation and accurate cost estimates with the intent to deliver finished products that are under budget and ahead of schedule. We actively coordinate with other trades, project managers and job site superintendents to be sure that responsibilities and prerequisites are clearly communicated and delivered. Our service and planned maintenance programs are offered so that equipment is maintained properly before repair or replacement is necessary. We continuously strive to learn, improve, and stand out as the overhead door & loading dock equipment company to call.
